About Apex Actions

What we build

Apex Actions runs workflows written for GitHub Actions, unchanged, on runners we operate. We are an independent service, not affiliated with GitHub. Teams choose a plan, sign in with GitHub, create their Account, install the App, start the trial, and push. Jobs start in seconds on a warm runner, larger runners are included and draw from the plan's minute allowance, the bill is one subscription, and every run records why it happened, which test is flaky and which step was slow.

Why

GitHub Actions won because the workflow file is good. Everything a team ends up building around it — waiting on a queue, watching a per-minute meter, working out why nothing ran, keeping a list of the tests that fail every third Tuesday — is where the hours go. We kept the file and rebuilt everything around it.

How we work

• Compatibility is the product. Every row in the compatibility matrix comes from the conformance suite, and every row names its fixture or says none yet. A change lands only with a fixture showing it still matches.
• Secrets are write-only values. They are never logged, never printed, never snapshotted — including in our own tests.
• The system shows its working. If Apex decided something — that a workflow did not run, that a test is flaky, that a step was slow — it can tell you why.
